It is now March 2008, I plan on this year being a complete New Start, my first two shows will the the Masters Nationals July 18-19 and the one week later the USA Championships July 25-26. My motto this year don\\\'t forget to have fun.
I looking forward to this year being a much better one then last year. Contest Prep is right around the corner.
Stick around and watch the changes.
I never keep this up very good, always say I will then I don't. Wow what an awesome crazy fun summer. My husband and two girls flew with me to Pittsburgh PA in July for the NPC Masters Nationals where first time in the Middleweight class I took 3rd place. and then the following week we flew to Vegas from Pittsburgh where I competed once again in the NPC USA Championships where I took 2nd place in the Middleweight class missing first place by three points. I was very happy, I accomplished my goal which was to place in the top five and do my posing routine. Other then that the summer went by fast and the girls are already back in school, my oldest started high school, man I am getting old. new update will be coming to the members section, I had quite a few photoshoots and am waiting on the pics, the ones I have recievied I just forward to my webmaster. he should have them up shortly. I start dieting again Monday Sept 1st for the NPC Nationals in Atlanta GA November 21 and 22 2008 and I will be posting prep pics in the members section.
Take care everyone, and here is a pic from the new ones I have so far.

Here is one shot from the John Stutz photo shoot not in the book, buy the book and see some amazing fitness models and physiques along with two more of me
Fit Girls, Volume 1Armada-Benson PublishingCasebound11" x 14" x 2"320 pages240 photographs120 models$110This fine art book is the first of a two-volume collection of photographs taken between 2003 and 2008 that document and capture the artistic beauty of physically gifted women who possess sculpted, muscular, and conditioned physiques. It's much more than just a book of photographs of strong women. From cover to cover, it is crafted from some of the finest materials available, expertly printed and bound. The leatherette cover, with its inset frame and photo, has a rich feel unlike any other you've ever seen. And best of all, every aspect of this book was designed by yours truly to provide you with a tactile and visual experience you'll never forget. The models featured within are among the who's who of the fitness industry. Anyone who is a fan of the fitness industry will surely recognize many of these one hundred twenty amazing athletes. For those less familiar, you need little more than an appreciation for beautifully sculpted physiques to enjoy this collection of artwork. When you purchase a copy of Fit Girls, Volume 1 or 2 you are also supporting each and every one of the women featured in both books. Half of the proceeds from the sale of these books are divided equally among them. And while these funds can merely cover a fraction of the training and competition expenses incurred in the pursuit of physical excellence, every bit helps. We are also donating a percentage of profits to a deserving charitable organization selected each year. This year, we have chosen the Huntington's Disease Society of America on behalf of cover model, Shana Martin. I would encourage you to read Shana's accounts regarding her family, and her own risk of inheriting this debilitating disease.

July will be here before I know it. Training is going good, strength is back 100% and put back on my size plus some I think. Prep is just right around the corner can't wait to see what Noel has in store for me. I want to bring a much better package then last year.
I will be guest posing for the first time, June 12th at a local show here called the Central Valley Classic. I won the overall at it in 2004 it was my first show back after a 15 plus year layoff. I am looking forward to it but nervous too, it will be 4 weeks or so from the Masters but I should be in pretty good shape. the promotors are Paco and Patricia Hernandez. Thanks guys for asking me to do it.
Family is good, I really can't complain. Take care everyone

Happy Easter
Happy Easter Well this past week went pretty good training wise, strength is coming back pretty quick, feeling a little fluffy and soft but oh well. The weight is coming back just hope it is good weight, I am going to weight myself today. My face is not healing as fast as I was hoping from the chemical peel, boy I sure need to learn to chill. it is still red pink and swollen a bit. Gets worse when I workout too because of blood pressure fun fun.
Can I just say I am loving my new trainer, he is even putting up with all my insecurities this year which there is alot.
My best friend Lisa Boushard is looking fantastict, she has eight weeks till her show the Jr. USA, keep up the great work girl it is going to so pay off.
Hubby is doing great, got the go ahead from the cardiologist that all is okay and he can start working out again. yeah yeah. We have to get our schedules back nsync so we can workout together. He is working three jobs and I am working two plus full time mom, so it can get complicated. We will figure it out.
I am off kids should be up soon to look for easter eggs. have a great day

New Year, New Start
Hi Everyone, i am really going to try and be better about my blog, Yeah I know I have said that before. I will try.
First day back today training hard, last week I got to go light but this back to the board. I am recovering nicely from both the nose and sinus surgery and then the chemical face peel. The next four weeks is about training hard and eating good, put the weight back on I lost after the surgeries and then it will be contest prep time. I am doing the Masters Nationals and the USA. Both are in july. July 18-19 and then the following weekend. I am working with a new trainer this year, Noel Fuller, He trained Mah Ann Medoza(Overall champ at the Europa pro 2007) and he also trained Brenda Reganot she just placed 5th at the Ms. International. He also works with Shelly Bleck, Sheila Bleck sisters. He seems happy to be training me so I sure hope all goes well this year. I will dieting hard but not the over dieting the Parisos had me do last year.
I have also started a training log and journal over on Siouxcountry.com. Sioux is such a supporter of female bodybuilding check out his site it is great.
Other then that life is pretty much the same, my husband had a scare about his health and heart, but we had all the tests done and he is fine. thank god. The rest of my family awesome awesome.
till later

This is it guys, we leave tomorrow the 14th for Dallas Texas. I am feeling great, loving the way I look and feeling very positive about the outcome. Yeah I am nervous and excited all together too. This has been a life long dream for me, and I plan on making it come true this weekend. These last 22 weeks has been fun, mind blowing, tiring , and somedays I wondered can I do this, but then I would push forward and low an behold I did. I have enjoyed this ride and the outcome will be so sweet.
My friend Lisa and her husband Joe were such great supports, Lisa kept me positive the whole time, and I hope to do the same for her when she gets ready for her next shows. My husband and my two daughters have been so awesome and supportive I appreciate them more then they will ever know. My trainers Betty and Ed Pariso, once again you out did yourselfs, I look 100 percent better then last year, and I was extremely happy with the way I looked last year. But this year wow wow, I can't believe how far I have come.
Keep all the positive vibes coming to Dallas, I am gunning for that pro card and am going to rock it.
love you all Claire

13 weeks tomorrow
Hi everyone, yeah yeah I know, I am so bad at keeping this up and I always say that. So what has been happening in my life. Last week Shawn(my husband) and I flew to Dallas Texas to work at the Big Europa Supershow that my trainers Ed and Betty Pariso put on. We had a great time but were butt ass tired when we got back. We arrived Wednesday late afternoon, got to the hotel and the first person we ran into was Bill Comstock, chatted with him for awhile, went up to our room called Ed and he informed us we needed to be at the convention center 8am Thurs. to start work. So we decided to go have a nice dinner because this would probably be our last supper. Thursday started bright in early we got up early enough to do a little cardio have some breakfast and start work. We were busy all day checking in all the vendors working with our good friend Damon. Late in the afternoon it was time for me to go back to the hotel and work with Betty checking in all the pros. Steve Wennerstrom my favorite photographer was there and we chatted for awhile. I like helping with the pros, one day soon I will be the one being checked in. We worked late, had a quick dinner of really food after eating bars mostly all day long and went to bed, Friday up early and back to the convention center, wrapping gifts for the judges and starting the check in for the BSN sponsored Hot Body contest. there were twice as many people entered as last year. We were then able to take a little break and watch the pro womens pre judging. The lightweight class (under 135) looked the best overall, the heavys okay. From there back to work to run the Hot Body contest. That night we were able to watch the pro womens finals and check out some of the expo booths and meet some of the vendors, I met our now friends Mike and Lori George(she will be competing with me at Nationals), Troy and his wife Krissy, and lots of others. Out of there at midnight and a quick dinner TGIFridays, back to sleep because Saturday the earliest of all the days, the NPC prejudging starts at 8 am and we needed to be there at 7am. Saturday was the longest day but so much fun, ran the NPC prejudging, went pretty smooth, the finals for the Hot Body, help run the Pro mens prejudging, took very little break to go back and get dressed for the night show, First it was the pro mens finals then the finals for the NPC. I ended up handing out some trophies and Lonnie Teper my fav MC introduced me and predicated I would get my pro card at the Nats. The call him the Swamie(I think i spelled that wrong) he says he has only been wrong 8 percent of the time. We did not get out of there till 12:30 am went back to hotel, had pizza and dessert with all our friends we had worked with Michelle, Damon, etc and chatted till 2 am then went to bed and got up 5 a.m sunday to fly home.
Now it is friday, got back on my diet on Monday just like Ed and Betty wanted me to, they say I am exactly where they want me. Tuesday night got the new diet and started it Wed. pretty different then last year, but all good. so far so good, I just want to be peeled and have a cheese grater butt. I still get my one cheat meal this weekend at least. I am off to do more cardio.
I promise I will try and keep this updated.
